Bolsover is surrounded by amazing countryside. It’s thanks to the Long Distance Walkers Association for inspiring this beast of a walk. We’ll hike through the area’s coal mining country, visiting the historic houses of Sutton Scarsdale, Hardwick and Bolsover Castle.

We’ll board a mini bus for a free ride to the southernmost tip of North East Derbyshire, starting near Ryknield Street and a former meeting house. Heading north we pass through farmland and tiny hamlets before finishing with a mile of road walking through Chesterfield.
